METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL seeks an Outreach and Community Engagement Supervisor to lead outreach staff, coordinate activities, and ensure high-quality encounters with individuals, families, and partner agencies in Tacoma and surrounding areas.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating referrals, maintaining program knowledge, and building relationships with community partners to strengthen MDC's visibility and service reach.

Qualifications

• Associatе degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Three years of outreach/community engagement experience.
• One year of lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and maintain accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to Outreach Coordinator staff.
• Coordinate daily workflow and community engagement activities.
• Train and mentor staff on MDC programs, referrals, and customer service.
• Maintain knowledge of MDC services and community resources for accurate referrals.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations and agencies.
• Prepare regular reports on outreach activities and outcomes.
