Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County seeks a Community Engagement Officer to strengthen ties with local providers, neighborhoods, and resident groups. The role coordinates events, trainings, and volunteer activities, builds strategic partnerships, and ensures unhoused and newly housed residents access supportive resources.

The position requires travel across Nashville/Davidson County and occasional work outside normal hours.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience in information dissemination or public relations.
• Experience coordinating outreach and training activities.
• Valid Driver License.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain relationships with local service providers, nonprofits, neighborhood groups, and community organizations.
• Coordinate community events, presentations, resource fairs, and outreach activities to increase awareness and connect residents with services.
• Attend and facilitate community meetings, outreach activities, and partner events across Nashville and Davidson County.
• Collect data, conduct surveys, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual community engagement reports.
• Assist with communications and messaging in coordination with the Public Information Officer.
