San Diego Community Power seeks an experienced manager to lead community engagement efforts. The role liaises between internal teams and local stakeholders to inform the public about programs and operations.

The position oversees outreach activities, cultivates partnerships, and coordinates advisory meetings, with opportunities to engage communities across San Diego County, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in roles related to community engagement or outreach.
• Experience coordinating with public agencies, non-profits, and community groups.
• Ability to design and implement outreach strategies and events.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise community engagement staff, interns and volunteers.
• Administer monthly Community Advisory Committee meetings and onboarding.
• Coordinate outreach activities and events, including tabling and forums.
• Develop and evaluate outreach strategies to raise program awareness.
• Identify partnerships with organizations across San Diego County.
• Build relationships with environmental and social equity groups.
