Job summary

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum seeks a skilled Community Outreach Manager to lead offsite youth and family programming across Davidson County and Middle Tennessee. You will supervise teaching artists, interns, and volunteers, and partner with libraries, fairs, and festivals to bring hands-on music and visual arts education to diverse communities.

Reporting to the Director of Family and Community Programs, you will design outreach strategies, coordinate contracts, train staff, and evaluate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, museum studies, or related field is required.
• Minimum of three years working in a museum, school, or nonprofit education setting.
• Experience designing educational activities for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 80-100 community outreach programs annually and serve as project manager and primary contact.
• Design a community outreach strategy with at least two new partners per year to grow local audiences.
• Coordinate logistics with teaching artists, volunteers, and educators.
• Collaborate with the Education team to plan music and visual arts programming.
• Oversee program assessment, data tracking, and internal reporting.
• Create quarterly newsletters for external partners.
