Job summary

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville seeks an experienced Volunteer Programs Manager to lead the volunteer program in the Education Department. You will oversee 110+ volunteers, recruit, train, schedule, and recognize them, and collaborate with Teen Team for youth volunteers.

The role requires strong leadership, relationship-building, and organizational skills to expand engagement and ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, arts administration, museum studies, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in nonprofit or educational setting.
• Experience with volunteers and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies and information sessions.
• Maintain a corps of 125+ volunteers and oversee training materials.
• Schedule volunteers to match skills and organizational needs.
• Communicate key museum information to volunteers for success.
• Plan enrichment activities and volunteer recognition events.
• Oversee volunteer database, sign-in, and quarterly/annual reporting.
