Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio is seeking an outgoing Community Outreach Coordinator to grow our network of healthcare and community partners across Columbus and surrounding areas. This part-time role focuses on relationship-building, referral generation, and increasing awareness of our non-medical home care services.

Responsibilities include meeting with physicians, hospitals, senior centers, and social service organizations; educating partners and families; tracking outreach using CRM;

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and referral partners.
  • Generate qualified referrals and new client opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to increase awareness of Homewatch CareGivers.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to physician offices, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, senior centers, social service organizations, care management companies, and other referral sources.
  • Educate healthcare professionals, families, and community partners about Homewatch CareGivers' non-medical home care services.
  • Identify new referral sources, business opportunities, and community partnerships.
  • Build relationships with social workers, case managers, discharge planners, care managers, physicians, nurses, senior living professionals, and other key referral partners.
  • Distribute marketing materials and promotional information.
  • Attend networking events, health fairs, educational programs, senior events, and community outreach activities.
  • Represent Homewatch CareGivers professionally throughout the community.
  • Maintain regular contact and follow-up with existing referral partners.
  • Track outreach activities, contacts, referrals, and follow-up using company systems and CRM tools.
  • Communicate referral trends, community needs, and market opportunities to leadership.
  • Collaborate with leadership and the office team on marketing initiatives and outreach strategies.
  • Meet established monthly outreach and referral goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and other company activities as needed.

Community Outreach Coordinator – Part-Time
Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio
Position Summary

Homewatch CareGivers of Central Ohio is seeking an outgoing, motivated, and relationship-driven Community Outreach Coordinator to help expand our network of healthcare and community partners throughout Columbus and surrounding areas.

This is a part-time position with the opportunity to develop into a full-time role as the company grows and outreach and referral activity increase. The position focuses on developing professional relationships, increasing awareness of Homewatch CareGivers, and generating qualified referrals and new client opportunities.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, community outreach, business development, or relationship management.
  • Experience with senior care, home care, healthcare, senior living, rehabilitation, or social service organizations.
  • Existing relationships within the healthcare or senior-care community.
  • Experience tracking sales, outreach activities, or referrals using a CRM.
  • Knowledge of the Columbus healthcare and senior-care community.
