Job summary
City National Bank in Austin is seeking a Community Loan Officer to originate residential mortgage loans and related bank products for diverse clients. You will cultivate new business through outside sales, meet with clients at various locations, assess needs and present mortgage solutions, while ensuring TRID compliance and smooth processing.
Requirements include 5+ years in retail mortgage sales, experience with underserved communities, and active Safe Act/NMLS registration.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of retail residential mortgage sales experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of mortgage/financial experience as part of a community lending team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with diverse and underserved clients.
- Must be in good standing under the Safe Act with NMLS registration or be eligible for registration.
Responsibilities
- Originate residential mortgage loans and expand referral networks.
- Prospect with clients and sources at their locations away from the office.
- Provide ethical loan counseling and liaison during processing and underwriting.
- Develop sourcing strategies to meet sales goals.
