Job summary

PNC is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to service the greater Austin, San Antonio or Waco Texas area. Based in an in-office environment, you will advise clients on loan options, build relationships, and coordinate with internal teams to close mortgage transactions.

Ideal candidates have strong understanding of bank products, mortgage processes, and client prospecting skills. This role emphasizes customer-focused service and risk management within a regulated framework.

Qualifications

• University/college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
• Licenses and certifications as required by state and CFPB regulations.

Responsibilities

• Recommends loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients' requirements.
• Manages a portfolio of customer relationships and seeks opportunities to retain and develop new clients; conducts sales calls.
• Develops and prepares loan solutions; reviews documentation to ensure compliance; manages customer pipeline for efficiency.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions.
• Collects and analyzes customer financial information for multifaceted and/or complex borrowers.
