Citi in San Jose, CA is seeking an entry level Community Mortgage Lending Officer to drive mortgage sales and build client relationships with community clients, real estate agents, and affordable housing partners.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years relevant experience in mortgage sales
• Residential mortgage experience required
• Experience with CRA or minority lending programs preferred

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about finances and lending needs.
• Analyze financial information to assess qualification.
• Make recommendations on lending solutions.
• Promote Citi and its services to real estate agents and nonprofits.
• Coordinate with Operations, Processors and Underwriters to close loans.
• Develop and maintain relationships with diverse referral sources.
