Job summary

Pawnee Mental Health is seeking motivated individuals to provide community-based mental health services. You will engage with clients in various settings, assess needs, and connect families to resources.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in human services or related experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Expect collaborative teamwork and adherence to agency policies in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience, or a combination with one year substituting for one year of education.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Basic personal computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
• Results of background checks and drug screening must meet Pawnee policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in community settings where the consumer may need support (school, work, home, shelter, store, etc.).
• Provide outreach, referrals, and connection to resources for consumers and families.
• Elicit client strengths and involve family in planning and goal setting.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate treatment plans and progress notes.
• Ensure crisis management and coordinate emergency services when needed.
• Travel to community settings to deliver services and maintain an updated schedule in the EHR.
