ICL is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to support adults living in community housing in Brooklyn. Under supervision, you will assist residents in developing living, social, and vocational skills and coordinating services.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree, direct service experience, and eligibility to work in the U.S. The position is onsite at 2581 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree required.
• Experience providing direct services to individuals with mental disabilities or other relevant human service experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Travels to residents' residences to provide supportive services on a schedule.
• Maintains client treatment plans and case records with progress notes.
• Provides individual or group counseling to modify attitudes and behaviors.
• Connects clients with medical, social, psychosocial, educational, financial, and vocational services.
• Responds to crises and participates in crisis intervention.
• Reports incidents and maintains safety and compliance.
