Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to adult oncology patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cancer and treatment-related conditions.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits, including treatment response and toxicity management.
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncology, surgical oncology, infusion services, palliative care, and ancillary teams.
• Interpret diagnostic testing, including imaging, pathology, and laboratory data.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case conferences.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and goals of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
