Job summary

Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is seeking an energetic Community Manager to join our Franklin, IN team. The role focuses on resident relations, rent collection, move-in coordination, and maintaining accurate files and communications.

A robust customer-service mindset is essential to support a family-oriented, team-driven culture. Requirements include a high school education or equivalent and at least two years in residential property management.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in residential property management required.
• Customer-focused approach
• Great with people- warm, friendly and helpful both in person and on the phone.
• Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, team members and Property Manager at all times.
• Possess dynamic attitude, superior customer service, verbal communication, written communication and follow up skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and strong organizational skills, especially in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work 40 hours and must be available for overtime and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance are required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of the job's functions.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Professional and friendly customer service.
• Collection of rents and preparation of receipts and late notices.
• Compose correspondence and documents; Answer phones and greet residents in a professional manner.
• Maintain professional communication with residents, applicants and representatives of other companies.
• Maintain all residents files, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain a calendar of scheduled move-ins, ensuring all move-in appointments are completed and all apartments inspected and compliant with established standards prior to move-in.
• Coordinate daily activity of Maintenance Team.
