Job summary

Wellington Advisors in Leland, NC is seeking a motivated Community Manager to elevate on-site operations, leasing, and resident satisfaction. The role will manage leasing activity, budgets, reporting, and staff supervision while ensuring top-tier service to residents and prospects.

Your leadership will drive daily operations, coordinate with the Regional Manager, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety standards. A supervisory background and Yardi experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two or more years of property management experience.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Yardi Software preferred.
• CAM, CALP, or Real Estate License preferred.
• Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ownership goals are met through leasing, resident retention, and budget management.
• Provide excellent customer service to community residents, maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction.
• Ensure the office is opened and securely closed on schedule each working day; keep the office welcoming to prospects and residents.
• Knowledge of the community and nearby competitors.
• Walk grounds daily and ensure model units are ready to show.
• Respond to leads via CRM, phone, and email to convert leads to tours.
• Present apartment options to prospects and welcome them to join our community.
• Complete resident files with leases, addendums, and other documents.
• Enter prospect and resident information into Yardi and CRM.
• Qualify applicants and assist residents with work orders; follow up for satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Service Manager for turning vacant units.
• Check mail and rent drop box daily; scan payments into Yardi and update ledgers.
• Code and submit property bills; submit regular financial & leasing reports.
• Coordinate major expenses with Regional Manager and respond to rental verifications.
• Complete training modules as assigned; follow Fair Housing guidelines; adhere to OSHA safety standards.
