Job summary

Wellington Advisors is seeking a motivated Community Manager to enhance on-site operations and the resident experience. You will oversee leasing, retention, budgeting, and daily office tasks, ensuring excellent service to residents and prospects.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work with a team. Experience with Yardi and knowledge of Fair Housing laws are preferred; weekend work is expected. This position is onsite in the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Ability to use an AI coaching tool for realtime field support.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate the team.
• Creativity to plan resident events, marketing materials, and flyers.
• General administrative skills such as answering phones and emails.
• Time management and basic math for accounting tasks.
• Knowledge of Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing Laws.
• Weekend work availability.

Responsibilities

• Meet ownership goals through leasing, retention, and budgeting.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects.
• Open/close office on schedule; keep space welcoming.
• Know the community and nearby competitors.
• Walk grounds daily and prep model units for showings.
• Respond to leads via CRM, phone, and email to schedule tours.
• Present apartment options and welcome new residents.
• Complete resident files and enter data into Yardi/CRM.
• Qualify applicants and coordinate work orders with residents.
• Scan tenant payments and code bills in a timely manner.
• Submit regular reports on financial and leasing metrics.
• Coordinate major expenses with Regional Manager.
• Respond to rental verification requests.
