Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Community Manager to lead our New Jersey community. You will oversee staffing, leasing, resident relations, and day-to-day operations to deliver exceptional experiences for residents and team members.

This role requires hands-on leadership, a track record in property management, and the ability to manage budgets, reporting, and vendor partnerships while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in property management, with at least one year as a Community Manager.
• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to walk the property and climb stairs.
• Strong professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise team members with mentoring.
• Oversee occupancy and NOI through marketing and leasing.
• Manage resident relations and retention.
• Prepare operating budgets and reports.
• Ensure rent collection and timely deposits.
• Coordinate maintenance and vendor relations.
