Job summary

Landmark Properties is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations of a student housing asset in Ann Arbor. You will lead site teams, drive occupancy targets, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional service to residents and prospects.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Bachelor's degree preferred with 2 years of property management experience; experience with Entrata software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in property management, preferably student housing.
• Licenses/certifications strongly preferred and in some cases required.
• Entrata experience preferred; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site team and manage performance; recruit, interview, hire, and coach staff.
• Analyze financial reports to monitor operations, forecast and manage budgets; maintain NOI.
• Develop leasing and marketing strategies to meet occupancy goals; monitor leasing velocity.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and vendor contracts; plan budgets for contracts and supplies.
• Manage resident relations, handle disputes, and maintain online reputation.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and document incident reports.
• Coordinate with regional support and corporate attorneys as necessary.
