Community Manager

The Community Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring company standards are met and delivering excellent customer service.

Overview:

1. Inspect properties regularly to ensure safety, compliance, and operational standards, and suggest improvements for efficiency and profitability.
2. Analyze market and economic trends to develop marketing and leasing strategies aimed at occupancy and revenue goals.
3. Manage resident retention by responding promptly to service requests and monitoring satisfaction.
4. Oversee repair and maintenance requests, verify vacant units, and ensure proper response to resident needs.
5. Work with Regional Manager on budgets, financial reports, and revenue collection, including delinquent accounts.
6. Hire, train, supervise, and mentor property team members.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. 3-5 years of property management experience.
2. Ability to travel for training and business purposes.
3. Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.
4. Professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
5. Positive, team-oriented attitude and ability to work with diverse groups.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or management.
2. Background in Accounting/Finance, CAM, or Licensed Property Manager.
3. Yardi experience is a plus.

Work Schedule:

9 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work to meet business needs.
