The Community Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring company standards are met and excellent customer service is delivered.

Overview:

  • Inspect the property regularly to ensure compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards; identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Analyze market and economic trends to implement marketing and leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals. Monitor traffic logs, budgets, renewal data, and marketing metrics for accurate reporting.
  • Manage resident retention by responding promptly to resident requests and addressing service issues; monitor resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee repair and maintenance requests, verify and inspect vacant units.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on budgets aligned with owner objectives, cash flow, and leasing strategies; ensure adherence to financial procedures.
  • Prepare operational and financial reports, review income and expenses, and manage revenue collection and delinquent accounts.
  • Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor property team members.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3-5 years of property management experience
  • Ability to travel via automobile and airplane for training and business
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word/Excel)
  • Professional demeanor with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Positive, motivating, team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people and customers

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or management
  • Background in Accounting/Finance, CAM, or Licensed Property Management
  • Yardi experience is a plus

Work Schedule: 9 am - 6 pm, Monday-Friday, with possible weekend work to meet business needs.
