Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington is seeking a Property Manager to oversee several affordable housing properties serving formerly homeless and very low‑income residents. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with HUD/LIHTC requirements, and manage budgets to keep operations stable.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally proficient service, maintaining occupancy, coordinating maintenance, and providing timely reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Two years’ property management experience with two or more years’ experience in multi-family property management, including direct supervision of others and direct client services. Experience with the homeless population and affordable housing, HUD & Tax Credit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain positive relations with residents and staff, ensuring safe, compliant housing operations.
• Screen applications, process certifications/recertifications, and manage move‑in/out procedures.
• Oversee maintenance, budget adherence, and regular inspections to keep properties up to standard.
• Ensure compliance with HUD/LIHTC regulations and prepare monthly reports for senior management.
