Job summary

Dominium is seeking a Community Manager for Highland Hills in Dallas, TX. You will oversee day-to-day property operations, tenant relations, budgeting, and staff supervision to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of multifamily management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Yardi and MS Office. The role emphasizes compliance, reporting, and teamwork within a mission-driven affordable housing company.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree (4-year preferred) in a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Three years of multifamily property management experience required; tax credit experience preferred.
• Accounting and administrative background preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Yardi experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English) and ability to speak in front of groups of people.
• Must be reliable, with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to think independently, work with minimal supervision, and coach, mentor and manage others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site personnel and manage staff tasks, schedules and vendor contracts.
• Meet with staff to discuss occupancy goals, renewals and projections; conduct training and performance reviews.
• Coordinate resident communication, retention programs and resolve issues promptly and fairly.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Process move-ins/outs and ensure accurate record-keeping and inspections.
• Review lease agreements and ensure compliance with housing programs and audits.
• Maintain property condition and oversee maintenance requests and vendor quality.
