Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Community Manager for Meridian Apartments in Florida. The role entails leasing, advertising vacancies, and maintaining occupancy while managing budgets and maintenance. You’ll lead on-site operations and ensure compliance with housing programs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of leasing experience in affordable housing, CAM/ARM/COS certifications, OSHA knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and property software. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years on-site leasing experience.
• Affirmative knowledge of Fair Housing practices.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) or COS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Survey local competition to set market rents and vacancies.
• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies and showing units.
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits.
• Collect rents, pay bills, forecast budgets, and prepare annual budgets.
• Inspect units, coordinate maintenance, and contractors.
• Maintain building security and safety procedures; respond to issues.
• Prepare reports on data and trends; seek professional development.
