Job summary

Arlington Properties in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead a vibrant apartment community. You will drive performance, oversee leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, while building a culture of service and accountability.

The role requires 2+ years in property management with strong leadership, budgeting skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing laws. You’ll mentor onsite staff and collaborate with regional/corporate teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in business, property management, or hospitality.
• At least 2 years of experience in property management with team leadership.
• Solid knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reporting.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI).

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, resident relations, and team supervision.
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor onsite team.
• Lead rent collection, budget management, and reporting with precision.
• Monitor market trends and recommend strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or coursework in business, property management, or hospitality preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in property management, including team leadership
• Strong working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
• Financial acumen and confidence managing property budgets and reporting
• Experience using property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, MRI) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when necessary
