Job summary

Newport Pacific Capital in Truckee, CA is seeking a full-time Community Manager to oversee 96 Mobile Home Park. You will ensure a clean, safe, code-compliant environment and manage rent collection, tenancy applications, and lease contracts with accuracy.

Responsibilities include inspections, addressing maintenance needs, handling resident complaints, and coordinating third-party bids. Housing and utilities in the park are provided; strong communication and fair housing knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Property management experience or professional expertise.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deposit rent payments and perform related data entry and bookkeeping.
• Process tenancy applications and manage move-in/move-out processes.
• Prepare tenancy contracts and documents for signing.
• Conduct routine inspections and address deficiencies.
• Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
• Coordinate maintenance needs and solicit contractor bids.
• Respond to urgent or emergency situations outside normal hours.

Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, we operate more than 100 communities in ten states across the U.S. We treat our residents not just as our livelihood, but as our neighbors, and we take pride in the fact that we are not an impersonal corporation, but rather a small company of incredibly talented people who are honored to serve our communities and our clients.We are currently looking for a full-time Community Manager who will be passionate about working with the residents of 96 Mobile Home Park in Truckee, CA.Under the direction of a Regional Manager, day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.Collect and deposit rent payments and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.Control expenditures by staying within the constraints of the approved budget.Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for deficiencies.Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.Recognize and address maintenance needs.Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.Effectively respond to urgent/emergencies that sometimes occur outside of normal business hours.Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned by a supervisor to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.Desired skills & experience:Property Management experience and/or professional expertiseWorking knowledge of fair housing and landlord/tenancy lawsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailRent Manager software preferredCompensation:A comprehensive benefits package after successful completion of an introductory period.Housing and Utilities in the Park.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
