Ovation at Tempe, managed by Bryten, seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep a safe and well‑cared-for living environment. You will handle repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-readies for new residents, while documenting work orders and coordinating with residents and vendors.

The ideal candidate has apartment or facilities maintenance experience, HVAC awareness, and strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance is ideal.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare make-ready units for new residents and manage turn processes.
• Diagnose issues in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and grounds for safety and upkeep.
• Assist with on-call maintenance and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain accurate work orders, inventories, and records.
