Job summary

YES Communities in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the community grounds safe, organized, and stocked. You will handle service requests, inspections, and help with new home delivery, set-up, and reporting warranty work to management.

The role requires a valid in-state driver’s license, a high school diploma, and experience in home refurbishment; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or pool operation are a plus. OSHA training and software proficiency are beneficial.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver's license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous home refurbishment or make-ready experience preferred.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Pool Operation experience are a plus.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• Proficiency in industry software and use of electronic devices/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance and refurbishments.
• Keep community grounds and common areas clean and safe.
• Respond to service requests and inspections in a timely manner.
• Assist in new home delivery, setup, and warranty follow-up reporting.
• Uphold OSHA standards and use PPE as required by state law.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
