Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and ensure exceptional service across communities. The role emphasizes resident relations, safety, and timely maintenance in a high‑quality property environment.

You will oversee work orders, coordinate with vendors, and maintain preventative maintenance programs while adhering to safety standards and company policies. On‑call and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional resident relations and customer service by addressing maintenance requests with urgency and professionalism.
• Coordinate, schedule, and monitor maintenance work orders and activities with staff and vendors.
• Inspect grounds and facilities daily to identify hazards and ensure safety and compliance with policies.
• Manage maintenance inventory and procure parts within budget guidelines.
• Supervise maintenance staff, train personnel, and participate in safety meetings.
