Job summary

Life Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide person-centered supports in daily living, community integration, and safety. The role ensures services align with Individual Support Plans and behavioral plans as needed, delivering high-quality assistance and documentation.

Responsibilities include attending medical appointments, assisting with meals and activities, and maintaining a safe home-like environment in daily operations for residents served.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or GED.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Must have reliable transportation for transporting clients.
• Must obtain a Class E driver's license during new hire orientation and carry required auto insurance.
• Must not have a disqualifying felony and must not have been substantiated for abuse or neglect in Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality person-centered support aligned with each ISP and BSP.
• Maintains documentation per laws and agency policies, including events and client records.
• Supports daily living activities, community integration, socialization, and safety.
