Job summary

Serenity Living LLC is seeking a Community DSP/Coach to provide direct support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings. You’ll help develop life skills, promote dignity, choice, and inclusion while ensuring safety and health.

Responsibilities include facilitating community activities, documenting progress, and collaborating with teams to implement service plans. Driving may be required; CDL/permit preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support in community settings.
• Assist with developing independent living and social skills.
• Support participation in community activities and appointments.
• Encourage choice and participation in daily activities.
• Assist with transportation to and from locations when required.
• Support communication and help individuals express needs.
• Monitor health, safety, and well-being in the community.
• Document daily activities, progress, and incidents per policies.
