Job summary

Southside Behavioral Health seeks a qualified individual to supervise and support adults with intellectual disabilities in daily living, communication, and community integration. You will implement PCPs, document outcomes, and ensure compliance with licensing and Medicaid requirements.

The role includes transporting individuals to activities, coordinating with caregivers, and promoting positive behavior and peer interactions in a recovery-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• One year experience working with intellectually disabled individuals.
• Must pass background check and drug screening; complete mandatory trainings (CPR, First Aid, medication) or be trainable after hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and instructs individuals in ADL skills and social communication.
• Seeks out and utilizes community resources beneficial to individuals served.
• Organizes activities aligned with the individual's choices and interests.
• Implements individualized service plans and ensures adherence.
• Transports consumers to activities to aid community integration.
