Hope Haven, Inc. in Iowa is seeking a Lead to manage daily operations, guide staff, and create a warm, engaging environment for clients and families. This full-time role covers day and evening hours with every other weekend, emphasizing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Leads develop staff, plan schedules, supervise, and ensure safety and quality in programming, while handling on-call duties and maintaining excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer literate with basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clearance from background checks as required.
• Proof of state minimum auto insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing an environment that maximizes each client's daily routines and living skills.
• Develop schedules and adjust as programming needs change.
• Supervise and evaluate staff according to performance.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and submit meeting minutes.
• Review staff expenses prior to submission.
• Assist with development and implementation of person-centered services and reports.
• Assist with initial client orientation and assess skills before 30-day staffing.
• Provide training and support to individuals as identified in their plans.
• Ensure health needs are cared for by arranging necessary appointments.
• Be on call for concerns and emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures and promote safety among employees and persons served.
• Assure home and property are kept in good repair.
