Bartholomew County Public Library’s Eastside Branch seeks a part-time Library Assistant I to provide welcoming customer service, assist patrons with digital resources and computers, check out materials, and help with printing and basic office tasks at a busy community library.

You will support on-site BCPL programs and the BCPL Express, set up and break down events, assist with holds and interlibrary loan, and refer patrons to community resources while maintaining a friendly, safe environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous library experience or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Check in and check out library materials for patrons.
• Assist patrons with public computers and basic technology questions.
• Help patrons with printing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
• Place holds and submit interlibrary loan requests for patrons.
• Answer questions about library services and programs.
