Library Systems & Services, LLC. seeks an Outreach Library Specialist to develop and execute library and literacy programs off-site and via the Outreach Van in Osceola County, Florida. You will plan activities, engage diverse communities, manage data, and work with the Outreach Services Manager to run daily van operations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt programs to community needs. Weekend and some evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with 2 years related experience.
• Experience in learning or creative environments.
• Experience engaging with a variety of age groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Willing to work weekends and some evenings.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Outreach Van and transport safely to designated sites.
• Plan, develop, and implement outreach and off-site programs.
• Tailor programs to meet community needs.
• Engage with patrons and provide library services.
• Represent the Osceola Library System at community events.
• Maintain records of attendance and engagement.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Outreach Van.
• Ensure data privacy and library policies are followed.
