Library Systems & Services, LLC seeks an Outreach Specialist to develop and execute library and literacy services through off-site programming and the Outreach Van in Osceola County. This role emphasizes community engagement, program planning, and collaboration with the Outreach Services Manager.

You will plan and deliver outreach initiatives, engage diverse community members, and maintain records while promoting library resources and services both on-site and at events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in a learning or creative environment.
• Experience engaging with a variety of age groups and learning styles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organization and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Outreach Van to transport it safely to designated sites across Osceola County and ensure safety and compliance.
• Plan, develop, and implement outreach and off-site library and literacy programs.
• Engage with patrons of all ages, providing library cards, information, and instruction.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Outreach Van with the Outreach Services Manager.
• Collect attendance data and maintain records of community engagement and service utilization.
