Job summary

The St. Joe County Public Library is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to engage with the community by attending events and promoting library services. You will work under the Community Engagement Assistant Manager to bring the Library out into the community.

You will identify outreach opportunities, foster partnerships, and help schedule and execute events while maintaining an inclusive approach and strong customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university.
• At least 1 year experience working with the public and/or experience in public libraries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and schedule opportunities for library outreach at community-wide festivals and events.
• Attend community outreach events and meetings to promote the Library and create a fun, engaging environment.
• Foster positive relationships with local organizations and maintain connections with partners.
