In this role you will shelve, assist at the public service desk, help patrons navigate the catalog, provide basic tech help, and contribute to engaging displays and programs.

The position requires 40 hours weekly with a rotating schedule: two 8am–4pm shifts, two 11am–7pm shifts, and a 9am–5pm shift on alternate Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Shelve, straighten, and organize library materials.
• Assist patrons at the public service desk, guiding them to resources.
• Help users navigate the library catalog and discover new materials.
• Assist patrons with computer use, Internet access, and logging into the system.
• Create engaging bulletin boards, displays, and library programs.
• Assist in cataloging the history department and other library functions as needed.
