Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of library experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provides reference and readers' advisory assistance in person and via the library’s formats.
• Provides technology and computer help to patrons, including expert-level assistance with digital collections.
• Researches community needs and designs relevant resources and programs with the Adult Services team.
• Delivers customer service and information services per the library’s standards of excellence.
• Supports systemwide goals and initiatives and stays current with library trends and best practices.
• Communicates with supervisor and Adult Services Coordinator regularly and participates on committees.
