This strong sales role requires 80-90% time in the field, with prior medical sales experience (home health or hospice) and an active network. You’ll travel to build partnerships, educate providers, and coordinate admissions while enjoying flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or health-related science is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines is a plus, but not required.
• Licensed and insured driver with reliable transportation; daily travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential clients and referral sources.
• Meet face-to-face with hospitals, physicians, and organizations to expand access to care.
• Educate referral sources on services to ensure timely, appropriate care.
• Coordinate admissions for patients transitioning to hospice.
• Travel to represent the agency in health-system activities and strategic relationships.
• Respond to patient and referral source requests and concerns.

Your Impact as a Hospice Liaison

This is a strong sales position with 80-90% of time spent in the field. We are looking for motivated, hungry, and goal-oriented sales staff. You must have prior medical sales experience (preferably in home health or hospice) with a preferred current book of business. Respond to patient and referral source requests and concerns Forge strong partnerships with hospitals, physicians, and community organizations to expand access to care by meeting face-to-face with potential key referral sources Educate referral sources on Alpha’s services, ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time while maintaining positive relationships with current referral sources Coordinate smooth, timely admissions for patients transitioning to hospice Travel to and represent the agency in transitional care activities and strategic relationships with health systems, hospitals, inpatient facilities, associations, and physician groups Identifies, contacts, and manages potential clients, patients, and referral sources Sources potential, appropriate patients in the community through meeting with referral sources and patients Meet and/or exceed hospice referral and admission goals

What You Bring to the Table

An associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or health-related science is preferred, but not required Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for home health is a big plus, but not required Possesses tenacity, empathy, emotional intelligence, and a solutions-oriented mindset Clinicians (therapists/nurses/social workers) are strongly encouraged to apply Licensed and insured driver with reliable transportation (daily travel is required)
