The Community Liaison serves as the link between the facility, community, and referring agencies. Responsible for creating demand for services through ethical marketing and sales strategies. Collaborates with the Director of Business Development to present a positive public image, implement strategic sales plans, manage territory and accounts, and achieve business development goals. Must demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment. Hours vary based on departmental needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours as directed.
Prefer knowledge of Indiana's behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets, referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatments, and age-specific programming. Must have business development, sales, computer skills, excellent communication, creativity, flexibility, data analysis, deadline adherence, customer service skills, and willingness to travel, including overnight travel.
