Job summary

Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina, CA seeks a Community Liaison to drive brand awareness and market share across inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs. Travel is required and this is an exempt, full-time role.

You will build relationships with referral sources, plan events, design marketing materials, and manage digital engagement to sustain referrals and support the hospital's growth. Visas not mentioned.

Qualifications

• Worked as a Community Liaison or sold services in healthcare or related field.
• Experience with referral growth responsibility for hospital services.
• Experience building relationships with hospitals, schools and social service orgs.
• Valid California Driver’s License and able to be insured.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare, or related field.
• Two years of healthcare experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• CRM experience with Salesforce or Zoho.
• Internet marketing and social media experience desirable.
• Experience with outpatient (IOP/PHP) and Residential Treatment programs preferred.
• Experience with behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the hospital marketing plan.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with referral sources in the greater Los Angeles region.
• Plan programs and events that build relationships between the hospital and potential clients.
• Assist in designing hospital brochures and related materials.
• Create social media content and drive digital engagement.
• Maintain a steady flow of referrals to the outpatient program and coordinate with Business Office to verify patient insurance.
• Other related duties.

We are seeking a Community Liaison to help drive brand awareness and increase market share for our on-campus Inpatient Program, Outpatient Program and Residential Treatment Program.

This is an exempt position, with travel required.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Assist the Chief Executive Officer in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the hospital marketing plan.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources in the greater Los Angeles region including physicians, therapists, hospitals, schools, and social service organizations.
• Plan Programs and events that build relationships between the hospital and potential clients.
• Assists in the designing of hospital brochures and related materials.
• Create social media content and drive digital engagement.
• Maintain a consistent flow of referrals to the outpatient program and effectively coordinates with the Business Office to verify the insurance of patients.
• Other related duties.

Education & Experience:

• Worked as a Community Liaison, or have sales, business development, account management, project management, or marketing background
• Experience with having a referral growth responsibility for relevant hospital business lines
• Experience in building relationship with hospitals, schools, and social service organizations
• Valid California Driver’s License, can be insured through employer’s carrier
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
• Two years of healthcare experience
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to effectively use CRM software programs such as Salesforce or Zoho
• Internet marketing and social media experience highly desirable
• Experience working for an outpatient (IOP/PHP) and a Residential Treatment Program is preferred
• Experience with behavioral health preferred
