Job summary

Allegiant-Carter Management (a Carter Funds Company), based in Tampa, FL, is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for its Rome, GA community. The role focuses on rent collection, delinquency, renewals, and assisting residents during move-in/out with documentation and cross-team coordination.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and multifamily experience; Yardi experience is highly desired. The position requires office work with some property walking, stairs, and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous multifamily property experience preferred.
• Ability to walk the property and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with property oversight and leasing team guidance.
• Provide support for Leasing Professional in apartment leasing while ensuring Fair Housing guidelines.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by timely responses to questions and requests.
• Post rental collections and oversee accounting administration for the community.
• Meet regularly with Community Manager and Regional Manager to discuss leasing issues and performance.
• Maintain lease files and community records; handle administrative duties as assigned.
