HarborChase, LLC. is seeking a cook to assist with menus, inventory control, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. The role focuses on preparing food appetizingly while adhering to nutritional guidelines and residents’ dietary needs.

Responsibilities include inventory management, receiving and storage, and coordinating meals for events. Must follow infection control standards and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.

Formación

• High school education required.
• Experience cooking for large groups preferred.
• Certified in food-preparation training preferred.
• Knowledge of state food-handling regulations.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and fire and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and report food and supplies for next week’s menus.
• Assist in receiving, rotation, and storage of products.
• Prepare menus and cook food per nutritional guidelines and residents’ diets and preferences.
• Assist residents in eating by providing adaptive equipment when needed.
• Coordinate food services for special community events when requested.
• Notify Dir. of Food and Beverage of malfunctioning kitchen equipment.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food per infection control standards.
• Maintain a safe and alert work environment; ensure associate and resident safety.
• Disclose any medication that might impair performance.
