Job summary

Trinity Church NYC is seeking a team member to support the Neighborhood Support outreach by moving inventory, stocking the Compassion Market, and ensuring space is organized.

The role requires physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasional evening/weekend shifts, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

You will help prep bags, assist with meal distribution, maintain safety and cleanliness, and follow church policies.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of performing the duties including lifting 25 pounds.
• Availability for some nights, weekends and religious holidays.
• Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Move boxes of inventory from storage to distribution space.
• Maintain and restock inventory in the Compassion Market and Compassion Space.
• Keep space clean and organized, including breaking down boxes.
• Prepack bags for program distribution (groceries, clothing, toiletries).
• Assist with coffee and breakfast setup/breakdown during market distribution.
• Assist with meal prep and distribution (coffee/lemonade service).
• Support with inventory order lists for the Compassion Space.
• Report safety issues and communicate concerns to supervisor.
