Job summary

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Client Support Worker Supervisor for the Community Integration Home in Atlanta. Under general supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, observe and chart resident behavior, and train residents in basic personal and social skills.

You will help develop service plans, supervise residents, coordinate meals and transportation, and maintain progress records while driving state vehicles to appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 3 years in social or direct care services in a human service setting.
• Experience as lead worker, team lead, or supervisor, or 1 year as Client Support Worker 3.
• Ability to communicate with mental health professionals in a team.
• Valid driver’s license required for transportation duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities at the CIH and monitor resident behavior.
• Provide training in basic personal/social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
• Help with meals, group activities, transportation, and limited case management.
• Develop and document individual service plans; report progress to supervisor.
• Drive state vehicles to transport clients to appointments and activities.
