Job summary

Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities seeks a Client Support Worker- Community Integration Home in Atlanta to assist residents with daily living activities and provide training in personal and social skills.

Under supervision, you will observe resident behavior, document progress, and help develop individual service plans while ensuring quality care and safety. A valid driver's license is required for transportation duties.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required to document observations and progress.
• Ability to communicate and interact with mental health professionals in a team environment.
• Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions and progress; maintain accurate records.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities at the Community Integration Home.
• Observe and monitor residents, chart observations and incidents.
• Provide training in basic personal and social skills, simple academics or work skills.
• Prepare meals, assist with activities, transport residents and perform light housekeeping.
• Develop individual service plans and contribute to progress reports.
• Drive state-owned vehicles to transport clients to appointments and activities.
