Job summary

The Atlantic District in Winchester, Virginia is seeking an outgoing Insurance Agent to become the face of our firm. You will build relationships, evaluate client needs, and provide tailored coverage options for individuals and families in the Shenandoah Valley.

You will manage a steady flow of leads, maintain accurate client records, and collaborate with our regional office to spot local trends while educating clients about their coverages and financial protections.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Solid track record of managing a sales pipeline or client book.
• Strong comfort level with digital documentation and agency management software.
• Deep understanding of the local Winchester insurance market and regional risks.
• Exceptional ability to explain complex policy details in plain, easy-to-understand language.
• Experience with consultative sales approaches that prioritize long-term client retention.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the specific insurance needs of individuals and families to recommend the right coverage levels.
• Manage a consistent flow of incoming leads, converting inquiries into meaningful, long-term partnerships.
• Review existing policy portfolios to ensure clients are correctly protected as their life circumstances shift.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records within our internal systems to keep everything running smoothly.
• Collaborate with our regional office to identify trends in coverage needs throughout the Winchester area.
• Provide ongoing education to clients regarding their specific coverages, helping them feel confident in their financial safety net.
