The Atlantic District in Bowie, Maryland is seeking an outgoing Insurance Agent to guide neighbors through life and health coverage options. This role focuses on understanding client needs, explaining insurance products in plain language, and building lasting relationships in the community.

You will identify opportunities, tailor plans, and assist clients through the application process while maintaining accurate records and staying current with product offerings.

Qualifications

• Maryland Life & Health Insurance License is required.
• Experience in consultative sales is preferred.
• Excellent conversational and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to self-manage schedule and stay organized.
• Proficiency with standard office software and digital record-keeping tools.
• A proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to individuals and families who need guidance on protecting their financial future.
• Meet with potential clients to listen to their goals and explain our insurance offerings in plain language.
• Develop custom plans that provide the right coverage for each unique situation.
• Guide clients through the application process with patience and clarity.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all client interactions and policy updates.
• Stay up to date on current industry standards and product offerings to ensure best advice.
