Job summary
Access Services seeks a CPS Supervisor to lead a team delivering community participation supports for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, guide program planning, and coordinate with support teams to foster growth, inclusion, and meaningful community connections.
The role combines leadership with hands-on care, crisis resolution, and ongoing staff development across Lehighton, Pottsville, and Bartonsville regions, with office time in
Qualifications
- Two years of supervisory experience in social services.
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or related field is desirable.
- Experience delivering person-centered supports and conducting case reviews.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular supervision to multiple DSPs in various settings.
- Engage DSPs in coaching conversations for career development.
- Provide direct care and support hours as needed (transfers, rotates).
- Travel region to support staff, oversee services, and build relationships with individuals and partners.
- Maintain documentation and reviews to ensure quality and compliance with policies.
