Job summary

Access Services, Inc. is hiring a Community Participation Supports (CPS) Supervisor to lead a team that helps adults with intellectual disabilities and autism build meaningful, connected lives in their communities.

The CPS program focuses on developing interpersonal, daily living, and work-related skills while exploring community connections. As a CPS Supervisor, you will supervise DSPs, participate in planning, and travel regionally to support staff and individuals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in one of the preferred fields is highly desirable.
• Two years of supervisory experience in social services.
• ANADD, RBT, CNA, or BCBA certification preferred if bachelor’s degree is not met.
• Knowledge of habilitation, behavior management, and safety techniques.
• Proficiency with Outlook, MS Office, and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision to multiple DSPs and support positive individual outcomes.
• Engage DSPs in coaching conversations about career development and engagement.
• Provide direct care and support hours to meet program and individuals’ needs.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and assist in crisis resolution.
• Review case documentation and ensure timely implementation of person-centered plans.
• Assist in hiring and orienting new DSPs and conduct/participate in assessments.
• Maintain documentation and report concerns per policy; collaborate with community partners.
