Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Massachusetts is seeking a Community Inclusion Specialist to support adults with developmental disabilities through community-based activities, ISPs, and person-centered goals.

You will facilitate recreational, educational, vocational, and social activities, promote independence, transport participants, and ensure health and safety. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to safely transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community-based destinations using a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with developmental disabilities through community-based activities, outings, and individualized programming.
• Implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and person-centered goals.
• Facilitate meaningful recreational, educational, vocational, and social activities.
• Promote independence, self-advocacy, and active participation in the community.
• Provide transportation to community activities, events, and appointments.
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and activity records.
• Manage outing budgets and activity-related expenses as needed.
• Ensure participant health, safety, and well-being, including providing basic first aid when necessary.
